On Sunday September 9th, 2007 (Grandparent's Day) a group of grannies marched across the Brooklyn bridge into Manhattan to protest against continuation of funding of the Iraq war. They urged the public, especially young generations, to contact their Congressional representatives and ask to be heard. They demanded that the troops be brought back from Iraq now.
"The Grannies Peace Brigade" was formed in 2005 by elderly female peace activists of various peace organizations (the Gray Panthers, Raging Grannies, Code Pink, Grannies Against the War, etc). In 2005, they protested against the war in Iraq by trying to enlist in the armed forces and consequently got arrested.
Hey where are the Grannies Against the War Now- that Barok Hussain Obama is at the helm-- making even more war???
Are these Lsftists hipocrit Grannies or are they true red blooded American Grannies that are against the BIGGEST CRIMINAL ever in Political office--Obama! I agree that I didn't like Bush either-- but Obama is even worse!

I admire those women. They gave their health, 20 years of their their patience, love and money to raise young adults who are blown up in a split second for militaro-industrial interests. The "Y" chromosom is pathetically self-destructive. God is a SHE.

Inspirational. We need more people like this. People who have been there in the 60s to turn the world around and re-discover the fight they have in them, follow the calling and get out there to turn the world around once again. They sense the Urgency, why the hell can't we?

All of these socialist grannies were breeders of the enemy within.
There spawn is probably in the halls of congress giving them free passes to all the hearings.
