If you put a macbook pro onto a macbook, the mpb will goes to sleep. Why?

The screens have a magnet seal that lets it know the case is closed. Once you place the MBP on the MB it senses the magnets and goes to sleep. No damage is done to the MBP.

@iiGerardoii This is why people should not use magnets in computers. Apple think's it's ok, but put it on a cpu and spend $200-2000 fixing it.

there magnetic so its taking the energy from bottom macbook to the top n then turning it on to sleep mode prettty koool dude 5star
