Do you have arguments or are you just saying, "the housing market went down somewhat... so obviously we should do what the soviet union did."

Well, none of the principles that Friedman advocated were implemented during the Bush Administration, so you'll have to try again. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

@ Whatchagonado. Explain to us armchair intellectual how Milton Friedman's theories failed us. If are even able to articulate this, which I doubt, I will counter and explain to you why you are the idiot liberal you are.

That's funny, you liked it when u posted one month ago. I in no way imply what you are suggesting. It would I guess go over a child's head.

Nice try but you seem to be uneducated about Friedman's beliefs. He would have protested the huge spending, the existence of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (which was the epicenter of this mess) and government ordered subprime loans. The myth that de-regulation caused this is so stupid, only a child can believe it.

If I want a civics lesson from someone from Barbados, I ask my neighbor's landscaper.

Whatchagonado, if Milton was all wrong, then what does work? This is a time when we need solutions.

I think you're confusing Milton Friedman with George Bush. I can't imagine why. They don't look alike at all.
