Art and artifacts from human history help us understand and analyze human life and development. Many important facts about human history are still unveiled, thus saving historic sits is essential so that archeologists can continue their inquisition of human history and help us understand the past as a way to think about the present and plan for the future.

The current plans to build dams on the River Nile, will destruct and inundate many of the historical archeologically rich sites that's value is no less than the well-known pieces of European art. Valuable heritage will be flooded and lost forever and ever and ever.

The life and heritage of ancient Nubia revolved around water. Nubians marked all important events such as weddings and births by visits to the Banks of the Nile. By building these dams without the consent of the Nubians, the waters will turn into monsters that will inundate important heritage and destroy a whole way of life.

  • Great video. This flooding effort is intentional. Anything discovered in Nubia/Ta Seti will predate the 3,600-3,300B.C. To be short, it will provide further evidence to destroy the big lie. That truth is that the Nile Valley Civilization is an indegenous Afrikan creation. Those who honor their mothers and fathers would not allow this to happen. Obviously, the current rulers/invaders do not care about their true ancestors.

  • A lot of stuff in Nubia predates Egypt and tons of it still remain unexplored or excavated...therefore any so called historian, archeologist or sane inquisitive human being should be pulling their hair out at the thought of such an extremely important site being destroyed. The site potentially holds answers to hundreds of historical questions that Egypt hasn't answered so yes its very important to world history. It's basically a 'holy grail' for archeology. Politics definitely is at play.

  • Funding an archaeological dig site is notoriously difficult for various reasons. Many dig sites have been granted funding specifically because of the fact that the terrain will become inaccessible due to development. Often the funding comes from the very people who plan to develop the land. Many archaeologists would see this as a great opportunity to lobby for a dig on this sight due to the timeliness of the dam project. You should turn this into your advantage (if enough people care).

  • great video

  • I fully agree this so-called "Arab Nationalism" has gone to far and this fanatical greed is going to destroy the worlds most Ancient culture. I'm Nubian and it saddens me, but also compels me to action.

  • Another Great Video.

  • How could people want to destroy thousands of years of Human history? This goes to show you that the people in power now are not truely African or Egyptian!

  • The point wasn't what would the world be like if Nubia never existed, the point was not letting all the artifacts be flooded.

Also the world would be different without Nubia, and Egypt did not form completely isolated from Nubian influence

  • i can imagine a world, im sure it will get along just fine. Nubia should be proud of creating such great art and architecture hell, the Egyptians, Cambodians and Maya all buily pyramids, living in total isolation from each other so i think we would of gotten along fine with Nubia's contribution ( but still thankful for it )

  • As usual Nabil and the crew use to do great work

all of us as Nubian s specially and Sudanese generally should stand together before the fanaticism behavior of the governing regime leads to destruction of the most ancient civilization man kind ever knows
