Did anyone see incredibel similarities between James and the Giant Peach and Up. They were very similar, like the flying scenes and even some of the music! Neat!

This is my favorite movie ever!!! I watched this all the time with my mom as a little kid and now I can't since she's gone... But this brings back memories so does anyone know where I can get the movie?? I miss it soooo sooooo much!!

time, why should we need to listen to people with negative input about positive things? I dont know about you, but im ready to stop listening to critics. I think people should decide for themself if somethings good or not. They dont need to have someone tell them whats good. im sure the critics are awesome people. I know they loved James and the Giant Peach becasue they sat in the front row with me of the theaters and they didnt even see me reach my hand into there large popcorn bag. There eyes were glued to the movie. Especially the scene were james bit into the peach. Then they started to get off and had to look away from the screen to avoid embarrasment

You dont need to be a drugged out rockstar to make good music. Just like you dont need to be a drugged out author to say something productive. Actually, on good days, my best thoughts come after swimming and drinking weat grass. Sounds laim? But it works. Its not as cool as pot, but whatever, i guess i wont be cool then. Shucks!Too bad

@onjimusha It's funny how riled up some people get over an opinion-especially a movie opinion! I think you're just having fun, but honestly this review is a decade old...and I've watched this movie since and can tell you my opinion about it has changed. I wouldn't say it's as classic as say, 'Nightmare Before Christmas" but it's a fine piece of craftmanship and worthy of a B for a grade. Not as good as the book either, but what movie is?
