Kony 2012 seems more like a marketing project to sell Tshirts, posters and kits and we'll probably forget about him later on.

I mean Kony is not in Uganda anymore. In this case why not make awareness of Hitler in modern day Europe.

I know Joseph Kony is as bad as Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, Osama Bin Laden or Bashar al-Assad but to make awareness of him is pointless.

On the other hand, if this kind of bullshit is necessary to make the message go viral, why not. And hopefully it will also bring more attention to the eastern DRC and the great war of africa. In the last 15 years, 4 million people have died there and yet our media almost completely ignore this conflict.

The fact that Joseph Kony is now operating also in the DRC and the central african republic doesn't make the problem outdated, if anything it makes the matter more pressing

But I also found the video corny, it takes him 30 minutes to finally tell us that the LRA abducts, rapes and mutilates children. The rest is dedicated to the inspiring life of film director Jason Russell and how we're all heros that will "stop at nothing" to hang up a poster.

Its sad how much of this video is nonsensical BS just inter-weaved in there. Much has nothing to do with the situation of Kony 2012. Its more like name calling and misdirection. Oh why would they do that, why would they make stupid irrelevant jokes and insults and pull away from the facts and serious nature of this???? I think you know. If charlie was serious, he would take this seriously, which he clearly isnt. This issue IS SERIOUS, fake or not, so why make jokes.
