  • Josh is a good person!

  • A great guy, with a great challenges ahead of him.

  • @upinya25 Actually No! Cal came in 2000. Memphis had just had the first back to back losing seasons in 20+ years. Memphis had to LOUSY coaches between Larry Finch (RIP) and Cal. One was Tic Price who got caught up in a sex scandal with a U of M Student. He was replaced by Johnny Jones in 1998 or 9. Jones was interim coach and was not offered the job. The only other time Memphis was on Probation was in the 80's after Dana Kirk was indicted for tax fraud. There cash payments to Keith Lee.

  • @BluePRSDude wasnt memphis on probation when Cal took over there?

  • So was Pastner Calipari's delivery boy? (Cash deliveries to recruits)

  • Josh has MORE than lived up to our expectations. He has integrity and he is by far a better bench coach than Cal. Let's compare his record after 9 years to Cal's and there won't be any NCAA violations. Josh is a Tiger and will retire a Tiger.

  • Next Kentucky Head Coach!

  • @XtremeWeatherr premier program, he will do well there and he's a good coach, but premier? arent u in conf USA, what is that. Other than memphis what other school in that conf does anything, oh thats right the good ones went to the big east, real tough to win that conference

  • As a UK fan my entire life. I'm elated we got coach cal. He's great, that said, I hate that there is so much animosity towards someone wanting to improve their career (cal). I wont be mad when he leaves uk whether its retirement or a top tier NBA job. its his life he deserves to do what he wants with it to be happy.

But, this guy is a STAR. Pastner is going to have recruits gravitating to him and the memphis program. I also think he'll be there for a long time. Great person AND coach.
