although this video doesnt FULLY illustrate how completely adorable Steve is, you do get a glipse of his handicap. Steve was born with a faulty equilibrium center in his brain. He's totally healthy and happy but he is a little unsteady on his feet - he doesnt have that usual cat-grace. I love Steve. Steve is NOT sick, drunk or retarded - just special.

  • I have a cat with a rather severe case of that, though I'd never heard the exact name for it. I thought it was "vestibular disease". But my cat is one of those who can't walk or even stand up straight. It's very difficult. She stays in a laundry basket all day, & I have to carry her to the litter box where she has a tough time. But she's content given her condition & I take good care of her.

  • you are a very kind soul. i wish you and your special kitty the very best.

  • I love special needs cats. They require more love and care, but you get lots more in return. My kitty is named Pincey, and she has no hair. She's a kind little kitty, and pretty spunky too! I love your cat, and I hope for the best for him! People shouldn't feel sorry for the animal, but more realize that he's perfect in his own way! Thank's for posting this great vid!
