Amazing how they pull this one off live. I knew they could, I just didn't know how.

You can hear so many different influences swirling in these songs. The Band, the Birds, The Beatles, Dylan, Niel Young, Beach Boys, Kinks, Gram Parsons, The Dead,Willie Nelson, The Replacements.....On and on. Incredible how they have created sound that incorporates all these and made it their own.

No doubt the best band over the last 12 years. Tweedy one of the best lyric writers of all time. Wilco carries the mantle for all the classic rock bands from the 60's 70's 80's.

i have no idea why, but it took me quite some time to fully love/realize the brilliance of both "Deeper Down" and "One Wing." A par of great songs from that last record.
Not sure why i didn't buy in sooner. And they both sound so great live (though I'm not sure if they are doing either one anymore in their sets over the last year)

im pretty sure it's a shorty twelve string guitar

I like Nels's weird guitar-mandolin thing.

Is it possible for a drummer to be too good?

great song.

What a wonderfully unpredictable and yet sweetly melodic song. Glenn Kotche is a drum master. Wilco is sooooo tight.

Nels is a pal of mine... Heck of a nice guy! Everyone look up BANYAN! They rock.
