The small Aboriginal community at Minjilang on Croker Island, West Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia, is in great need of a swimming pool. The waters surrounding the island are full of dangerous predators. Crocodiles, sharks, jellyfish and lethal stingers make recreational swimming impossible. This vibrant community of only 300 souls (more than half of them children) is too small to qualify for government assistance. The children are desperate for a pool and everyone in the community hopes this short film might attract attention from people and organizations willing to help turn what has been a pipe-dream for decades into a reality.
Good luck with it - i'm going to spread the word through twitter....

the irony of it: a need for a chlorinated swimming pool on such an idyllic island! A difficult message explained through a variety of voices and beautiful scenes and set to a beguiling beat. To borrow the words of the guy .. It's a quiet film and good. I love it! and good luck to Minjilang Community Swimming pool Appeal
