It's the bonus track from their album "Exotic Birds and Fruit" released in 1974.

  • Kind of cool like the old roller rink music!! LOL

  • Ami szèp az szèp ès ebbol a Budapestbol csak egyetlen egy van a vilàgon ès a Duna is csak itt kèk.

  • @tomlangedrums thats it zarathustra they did those live they may have never released a recording of them deodato had a hit with 2001 elvis used it

  • @spacepatrolman Didn't know they did covers of Sabre Dance and what I think you described as "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss. A very talented and creative group. I'm a huge fan of drummer BJ Wilson and have a video describing the intro to "Repent Walpurgis".

  • @CaptainRat50 Andre reuiu might like it we dont know yet

  • @karinablacktie it wasnt in the exotic birds and fruit song book

  • @tomlangedrums sounds like the guitarist is using his volumne control to fake a violin bow [ the other classical themes they did that werent original were sabre dance and 2001]

  • Oh, oh, oh, sorry to disappoint you fans, but after about three minutes this was downright painful to listen to. I can only imagine that they were drunk out of their gourds and jamming away, only the hysterical laughter was edited out. OY!

  • Incredible! I would guess Gary arranged it - he scored the orchestra parts when they worked with symphonies. BJ Wilson has to be the drummer with the best "feel' ever!

  • Magnificent! I've been waiting to hear this for a while, now. It was said to be a bonus track on PROCOL'S NINTH. Looks like EXOTIC BIRDS & FRUIT is the one. Love the "orchestration" among the boards, guitar, and bass. Love BJ's splendid work. Love the subtle humor and the undeniable heart, soul, and grace of this rendition. I'll always be listening. Way to go, guys! A. Long in America
