Iggy Pop is a god!! I had the opportunity to meet him in Miami several weeks ago and he's got to be one of the most personable and friendly celebrities I've ever met...I used to watch Pete & Pete when I was like 12 or something and Iggy always kinda turned me on!! The Stooges are/were amazing and will never be matched by anyone!!

"iggy was more on the era of glam rock"

Wrong. The original Stooges predated glam. The first two albums are metal/garage hybrids, not glam. Iggy didn't hook up with Bowie until after the demise of the original Stooges.

And even Raw Power doesn't have the sing-along sheen you get with real glam records. It's still noisy Stones/Doors-based hard rock.

Well, actually you are more right than I am on that one :P but I do have to disagree because I really don't think he's Metal influenced. I may even think he influenced some hard hitting Punk influenced Metal (some Thrash, Speed, and NWOBHM) but thats just my opinion.

Also, I think that RAW POWER is more noise-based (ferr that time, anyway LOL) than Stones and the Doors coz the Doors, I think, is more Psychadelic than Hard Rock, although there are alotta hard garage rock Doors songs (such as Peace Frogs) and The Stones are just plain, fun'ol Rock n Roll (although harder than most Brit-invasion stuff ) haha I'm just randomly ramblin' on here, so sorry ROFLMAO

"I wonder if that girl who played Nona ever went on to do anything else."

Sarcasm? It's hard to detect on the Internet...
