@fairlane900 There's some NPA militants in the area but most of them are friendly to the climbers as long as they show some respect to the mountains. And the guides will not direct you in an unsafe area..you should definitely climb Apo..good luck!

I was just in Davao city..and I wanted so bad to climb Mt. Apo..but i was instructed not to go there because of a group called abu sayyaf..and that I would be taken hostage....oh well ..the month I spent in Davao city was the best month of my life....I'll have a guide next time and will go to the top of Apo...I like you video
