Burning Rubber - Menu Systems Demo

Just a little demo of the new menu systems I've been working on. Everything has been tweaked to give a better visual experience and optimal performance. The "Ride" option takes you to a carpark where you can select one of two cars (more will come later). The loading screens reflect the car you have currently selected. A new "quit" prompt helps decrease the chance of someone quitting by accident. The "tweak" option takes you to your garage, where you will be able to edit your car (change paint colour etc.).

The menus aren't complete yet. More of the carpark UI needs to be added and the garage UI must be added, plus track selection and other smaller details.

WOW! .. yeah logic bricks are good for alot of things but pythons just pwnage if you know how to use it.. well anyway good luck on the game its awesome so far!

For most of it we will be using logic bricks. We might convert to python if it all gets too complex but for now logic bricks are good. There will be some bits which will be done in python, such as changing the performance when you weigh down the car or possibly change the suspension stiffness etc.

In tweak, it takes you to the garage, where you will be able to change the car's paint job, add accesories and change the car's specs (add a heavy bullbar to increase endurance, but will effect acceleration and top speed etc.).

WOWZA.. you really have a talent there i would not have a clue to make a game like that! ... also at the end... you clicked the option.. tweak... will that make it able to change the cars appearence of the settings??
