The Greece School Board is left answering questions after the state comptroller's office performed an audit.
The board met with auditors Monday night for more than three hours.
The report claims the district overspent by $2.5 million on a capital improvement project between 2000 and 2004.
Voters approved the project under former Superintendent Steven Walts. Greece's current board members were not serving during those years...
