shell eco-marathon 2007

the shell eco marathon was a competition run by shell to create a small car that will achieve very high MPG (miles per gallon). this video is from the brittish leg of the world wide competition hosted at rockingham motor speedway. each entrant was issued with a 4 stroke honda lawnmower engine. i was in my school's team which included ten pupils and two teachers. the winner of the brittish leg was a french college that achieved 10,550 mpg. where we got 218mpg as our best run with me as our driver. my school is called bushey meads and our team is the bullet. i would like to thank the whole team along with autocar magazine for publishing an article on us.

yeah you put a new body on it but the entire fram and engin and steering was made by yours truly, also the car was origionally green and blue, the reason you've got blue bits on it is because chalkley couldnt find pieces the right shape!

thats a load of rubbish I made that car!! the frame is made from dexian angle material and it uses a 37 cc engine. I used parts from a bmx to mae the gearing.
