Original abstract images of the Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands nightscape by Kate Hannon of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Original music, "Bitter Sweet," by Jon Bergevin of Seattle, Washington. Jon is a jazz pianist, producer and arranger. He has been studying piano since he was 6 years old, playing first classically and then focusing specifically on Jazz since he was 18. He is most well known for his role in the Bergevin Brothers Music writing team, that produced the 2008 Presidential campaign album 'Seven Songs For America' with Seattle's Total Experience Gospel Choir and Soundgarden/Pearl Jam drummer and friend, Matt Cameron. Jon also plays drums and Jazz melodica. Kate is an artist, writer and photographer who used the Bergevin Brother's Music during the 2008 Presidential campaign and contributed the jacket notes to "Seven Songs for America."   • This video gives me an illusion of what music might look like if it could be viewed through the powerful zoom of a microscope; I perceive many bass and treble symbols throughout these photos. The music is beautiful. You surprised me when you took a piece which began like a simple Jim Brickman composition in a more serious direction, with effective counter from the bass. To me, it sounds as if a serious musical conversation is going on between piano and bass.
