Experimenting with various power pads and filter settings on the softsynth with an ARP 2600 GUI. The software also has a chorus and delay section. I used a midi keyboard to play. It is possible to play using the mouse on the GUI keyboard. When controlled by a midi keyboard, the graphic shows depressed keys much like a player piano. The Arturia product includes the ARP 2600 in 3 faces, a 1601 Sequencer, and a 3640 keyboard graphic. I found the sound quality quite good even with the basic speakers. Latency is noticeable with the stand alone version
@warp2600 All true. Add various plug-in options, selectable filter responses. The real 2600 had a reverb unit. The software has presets made by famous programmers/ electronic musicians. Full details can be found on the vendor's website.

I would add that the software includes the reverb effect too, and uses 3 oscillators plus a separate LFO. Latency is only an issue in a Windows environment.
