@ jangel so you need to know music to understand huh? lol....its more like you have to know the teacher and/or her methods. bc honestly I don't understand what she means by 3 notes up or down but I do know my intervals. Could anybody shed better light on what she means by the notes being up and down. I read erunoyo answer but still not quite getting it

i think you should start teaching harmony from bass rather than from soprano. Also interval names should be learned as well instead of this up and down crap. I understand its a lesson of "how to harmonize a melody..." for beginers but still basic information such as intervals shouldnt be replaced by visual explanation that is not correct in many cases like C# chord for example your up and down theory will confuse and waste lots of students time to relearn it the proper way in the long run.
