Recorded 11 October, 2010 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
This is all of NS Route 207 east from downtown Dartmouth to its terminus in Porters Lake, a 45km drive.
Also featured is part of Trunk 7 on Alderney Drive, all of Portland Street and Cole Harbour Road, and again part of Trunk 7 in Porters Lake.
Communities featured on this drive are Dartmouth, Cole Harbour, Lawrencetown, Three Fathom Harbour, Seaforth, Grand Desert, West Chezzetcook and Porters Lake.
The 207 used to be the primary highway in and out of the HRM's 'Eastern Shore', linking up at Trunk 7 in Porters Lake. It's now been replaced by Highway 107, a super-2 controlled-access highway, and has become a secondary route.
Music is by Brian Eno, Music for Airports 4.
Sorry about getting stuck behind the van... he was going from 50kmh to 75kmh in 60-80 zones....

With a program called Sony Vegas; it's what I use to edit my videos and upload them. In real time, this drive is about 40-45 minutes. I'm glad you like my videos :D Subscribe to see more! Also, yeah. At the end of that I wasn't leaving Porters Lake without a classic Toulany's pizza slice haha.

Took me back nearly 40 years. I moved to Dartmouth from Scotland & lived in Galaxy Ave in 74. Knew Portland Street all the way up. Managed to spot Prince Arthur Ave. Used to swim in Maynard lake and I played a keyboard in Woolco, Penhorn Mall, on Saturdays: They couldn't pay me (because I was only 12) so they gave me a bike! I miss Canada. Good climate & friendly folk. Like Macarthur: I shall return! The video is a bit like Koyaniquatsi. Well-chosen soundtrack too. Thanks for sharing.
