Trying my Fat Gecko camera mount for the first time. I purchased this unit at B & H Video for $79.99 (www.bhphotovideo.com). Thanks to Humble Camera Center in Humble Texas for being supportive and taking their time to show me new products (www.humblecamera.com)

  • The camera was not shot with the PMW-EX1. (Shoots 1920x1080) It was shot with the little small one that only shoots 702x480. I rendered it the best I could from the raw footage. Edited in Sony Vegas PRO 8.0

  • has it ever failed?

  • @pHaTdProductions I tried to respond VIA my phone. I suppose it did not post. The unit has never failed. I also use it on my motorcycle witch is a duel sport. I suggest you use a lanyard so you will not loose your equipment.

  • Has this piece of kit proved worthwhile in the longrun?

  • @QBromley For the most part this unit has been great. I have used it in many different applications and it has never failed. In some cases its to large to fit in some tight spots.

  • Thats awesome! When you shoot your video send me the link. I would like to see it.

  • Why is it in 480p, the camera looks expensive

  • THANKS FOR SHARING, LOVE IT.

  • I want to buy this mount also, but i was worried it would have problems with my cameras weight. But after seeing the camera you mount on it, i guess my camera is a piece of cake :) It's a 550d with some extra accesoires with a total weight of 1.7kg.....

  • IS this thing reliable, i want to buy one to stick it on a wall and record tutorials, i want it facing my drawing table so it´s got to be completely against gravity. Does any one recomends it, is there any prefered surface for the dual suckers? I live in Santo Domingo, here the walls are cement covered and painted with semi gloss. i appreciate any response.
