First of all, awesome jump.
Anyhow, while being a _depth jump_ the contact to the ground should be short, shouldn't it. "like landing on to hot plate".
That's how you get maximum benefit out from it.
Probably you can also do drop-freeze-jump combo(like "russian stops"), but that isn't exactly a depth jump.
