The 2006 FIRST Vex Challenge is a robotics competition for high school aged students. Students use the Vex Robotics Design System to build a robot that compete in the Hangin'A-Round game described in the video. For more information or to join the competition visit http://www.usfirst.org/vex.
Special Thanks to FRC team 342, "The Burning Magnetos" for the animation.
I understand how important the first step is. But this video is really boring. ><

I mean this is a competition more focused on people who want to solve a problem.
I really want a competition like battle bots where you destroy the other robots or something like that.

YES!! I participated in this! I went to the Jersey regionals at TCNJ, and the world Championships in Atlanta. Amazing game, really fun. Good luck to all who ever join up for future FIRST Vex Challenges

those robots are a lot harder to build then in this movie, i'm in this competition. The hardest part is getting your robot in the 18X18 box, yet still being able to reach 24 inches into the tall box. We didn't even attempt to try to build an extention for the 34 inch hanging bar.

Hey, thanks for the video! Do you know how many members can be part of the team that builds the robot?

Hey, nice video! I was thinking about forming a team next year, but this just solidified that want!
