Semechki Sunflower Seeds TVC produced by Grinder Films, Cape Town. Grinder Films has just completed a job for Russia - Moscow's Pro Film chose Rob Payton to Direct & DOP their snack food commercial and its shots of tumbling and roasting sunflower seeds. Leading South African tabletop SFX specialists Dennis Beechy and Mark Van Niekerk provided support in creating the 300% product models, SFX rigs and effects. The TVC features a mixture of live action scenes shot on exterior location and in-studio Tabletop scenes. Shooting at 1000fps, the choice of camera was again Phantom Gold ex Media Film Services, Cape Town, South Africa. Rob explains "The Phantom Gold camera has distinct advantages over its predecessor. Download times and image quality are much improved; a new fan assembly in the camera helps to better regulate temperatures, which in turn holds black balances longer which reduces the artifacting that plagued earlier generation cameras"
