Charles Lazaruz creates abstract expressions to Live music, allowing the show's energy to inspire the piece. While the bands perform, he translates their music so the audience can hear the colors and see the sounds -- creating a show that's unlike anything anyone has ever seen before.
Painting live is intense. The combination of music and art takes the performance to the next level -- evolving with the performance as every stroke and new color is introduced to the canvas. Leaving all who witness, feeling as if they too, are part of creating a masterpiece.
"Impact. I think that's the word that sums up what I do and why I do it," says Lazaruz. "When you come to my show and see for yourself what's created that night, you're definitely going to go home with the 'impact' my performance leaves with you. A real sense of connection to the music."
Charles Lazaruz's work is a show on it's own. Watch as he paints using unorthodox, recycled kitchen items and twisted, crumpled newspaper instead of paintbrushes. Witness his body move with the music while his creation comes alive before your eyes.
