Chrysler is now paying back their $6 billion dollar federal loan from the auto bailout 6 years early. Republicans thought the auto bailout was a waste and would fail. Looks like they were wrong.

  • If I had a nickel for every time a republican was wrong I would have enough money to pay for our wars abroad.

  • I love the "hey what happened," drop.

  • @atripa645 GM is back thanks to the US and chinese markets. In Europe they´re losing hundreds of millions. Chrysler is back thanks to the US market and the billions of the Agnelli family, whose Fiat prefers to invest in America. Anyway, bankruptcy does NOT mean disappearance.

  • Oh you silly silly liberals. Why don't you research how GM and Chrysler paid back their bailout loans? They paid it back with more govt. bailout loans in order to qualify for even more govt loans. RESEARCH IT! What a bunch of crooks!

  • romney has the luxuary of not giving a shit about the auto industry because hes in massachussetes, the auto industry is based in michigan and the mid west.

  • @1Pantikian maybe you should ask Sam Seder. I don't even know if that's true or not. I commented on this vid what 7 months ago?

  • @atripa645 How does samseder support the bailouts and Occupy Wall Street at the same time?

  • crickets LOL

  • This idea that, if the government gets involved in Business, it will fail, was stupid even before the auto industry bailouts. Look at WW2 and how government went in and told Ford to stop making cars and start making planes and other stories. Did they fail?

I agreed with them because it was to save jobs. All that happened from the bank bailouts was the CEOs and other top management people got more big bonuses.

  • I love how, now Romney is trying to take credit for the bailout's success.
