@nathanfain The main feature I was excited about was the 50,000 waveform updates/sec. You get that for $1200. Show me another scope that can do that + segmented memory for $1500. What did you expect, Agilent were going to give away this scope with all the features for nothing and ruin their top end market overnight?

Thanks for the nice Review. I just got my MSO-X 2002A and I really love that thing. I first wanted to go for a Rigol oder a cheap Tek, but the Agilent definitely was the better option. It's - as you already stated - an amazing value for money.
Keep going, Dave, you're awesome!

I think I broke the Like button, clicked on it too many times, sorry Dave!

Wow. I mean, WOW. Pay day this Friday. Where can I get one from please?!

@EEVblog Married and have two young children, so I guess the answer is "whatever I can sneak in through the basement door without being caught"...plus enough toys to keep the kids from tattling.

what does it do ?
After seeing this (and the 3000 series), I can't help but look at my Rigol in disdain. How many oscilloscopes are we allowed to own before people come carry us away in white jackets?

@Psychlist1972 The limit is triple digits. Double digits if you are married...

Hey Dave,
I'm a hobbyist and having used a crappy CRO for the past few years I've decided to buy myself a DSO for christmas. At first I thought about getting some random one hung low brand scope but I'm glad I stumbled upon your reviews and went for an Agilent instead. My DSOX2024 arrived yesterday and you certainly haven't lied - the 2000 series DSOs are excellent value for money!
Keep up the good work mate,
cheers!

@ELHV Yeah, they are great scopes. Enjoy!

I wonder why they don't produce scopes without a display and just an HDMI interface instead. I could just plug it in to my favorite LCD.
