This is my first attempt to build a cnc controller with a gutted PC case.Since I have never worked with electronics like this before, it took me several days to plan the wiring and layout. The wiring to the back panel is only temporary. I plan to add a 4th axis soon which means a different layout and maybe a larger enclosure. I also plan to cut out a custom rear panel with my cnc and change all the connectors with proper ones. I was very impressed with the kit from DMM Technology which included all quality components even down to the proximity sensors. You can read about my build here: http://tinyurl.com/2377fhv
