Partly the result of seeing someone else do it, partly the result of having two gigs exactly five years apart to bookend them, but mostly because I got a bit bored, here's my entire collection of gig tickets.
The most frequently seen bands are The Who, Razorlight (mostly back when they were actually really good) and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. There's 169 in total. And there's alot that have either gone missing (Bob Dylan at Brixton, for example) or were issued as eTickets (including Patti Smith in New York).
The band I've seen over the furthest distance are BRMC (5,597 miles between two venues), and the most expensive ticket (excluding festivals) was Chuck Berry at the 100 Club (£135). I've also only been to two stadium gigs, having managed to see most of my favourite acts in much more intimate surroundings.
The song's Took Out a Loan, taken from BRMC's thoroughly underrated album Baby 81.
Very impressive seing Chuck Berry every time he appeared on London over the past 2 years. Same goes for the Who and The Rolling Stones.
