Join us on this 4th herb walk with: Bill Barash, Horticulturist and Dr. Ellen Kamhi,"The Natural Nurse." We encounter some St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) on this journey and unravel some of its secrets. This trek took place in late summer 2008 on Long Island, NY. The walk was totally spontaneous and our discussions completely extemporaneous. So, join us on these fun plant journeys of discovery!

There are many herbs that can help uplift the spirits, such as lemon balm and rhodiola. Amino acids may also be useful including phenalalanine and L-tryptophane. However, none of these are as well studied as St. John's Wort, and are probably no less expensive.

  • Awesome video! Also Bill I can see you are progressing quite well in your video editing program! Bravo :)
