@WorldWar2Boy The essential notion is that of the Fertile Crescent. This is the area where irrigation is not needed for agriculture. These lands are moist, easy to cultiver.On it includes the region that lies to the south, between the rivers Tigris and Euphrates (in Iraq today). Kurdistan is not even in your dreams, we are all Iraqis stop. The present-day Iraq covers a large part of Mesopotamia, one of the cradles of civilization. kurdistan= IRAK , IRAK= MESOPOTAMIA MUAHAHAHA ^^ LONG LIVE BABEL
-
@enifuite FAIL
Mesopotamia = not Iraq.
Mesopotamia = Kurdistan.
If you watch the card, you see it covers only Northern Iraq which is now The Kurdistan Regional Government.
Other places which are covered: Eastern Turkey, Northern Syria and Western Iran. All those places are habitat by Kurds now and they allways were. This means the most important empire in WORLD HISTORY was Kurdish, not Arabic. LOL.
And this is allready proved by a lot of Historians!
Haters, please hate us so we can see we won!!

well mesopotamia isn't the name of the area. its simply a reference to its geographical location. a land between 2 rivers. its called iraq today and have had many other names. there is a place in brazil which is also called mesopotamia. the english language is highly influenced by latin which is driven from greek. so they use the word mesopotamia instead of the sentence ' a land between two rivers'.
