  • This is such a part my past it's not even funny. This is when I took gaming very seriously and knew all these codes and everything. Really kicked ass when I was able to play it in Nightmare mode and all. Then I discovered women. haha, still though, I really miss rocking out at this game. Anyone ever turn the music off and play something else in its place? I used to do that with Tool. I was a huge fan when I was a youngin. Not so much anymore....

  • damn good 3d engine for that time

  • @Reconite11 They weren't demons in quake, they were creatures from another dimension heavily inspired by lovecraftian designs, and nothing like doom.

Quake 2's aliens were basically the borg, with some flying ones. I'm so glad the next Quake is going to be a sequel to Quake 1 instead of Q2/4

  • @chewynickerson I know, weird right?

  • @monosaturated

    seriously? wow

  • @chewynickerson Credibility? Ah, I've been trolled.

  • @monosaturated

Not sure I really comprehend... the kind of music Tool plays (along with other bands in that genre) isn't something that's like anyone's 'cup of tea'; either you like it or you don't... and "numetal"? seriously? by saying that, you pretty much lost your credibility.

  • @chewynickerson Just not my cup of tea anymore, that's all. I used to like all sorts of things I no longer do, and numetal is on top of that list. Everyone has something they liked once but don't now; it's just moving on with life. I still love Quake, but this time around I play with its intended soundtrack.

  • @monosaturated

    why not?

  • @chewynickerson Tool

  • @monosaturated

no longer a fan of Tool or quake...? confused

  • Plug the game cd into a music player to play the eeri soundtrack. I might do that for halloween.
