I made this quick video from Saturday's event. Its about money. Erik manned the camara, and thanks for your help!!
Quick lesson. Quarters and dimes before 1964 were made from 90% silver, and 10% copper. They also weigh more than new ones.

While quarters after that, are 92% copper, and 8% nickel. They also weigh less.

It just shows you what inflation has done to the value of the dollar. If they can steal the value of the dollar in your pocket, you will never get ahead. That paycheck you got yesterday, is worth less the next day! So what ever they promise in entitlements, it won't matter if you cannot keep the lifestyle your acustom to. We all get old, and when you retire, you live off fixed income. Which is your savings. If the money is the bank buys less each day, you better not live too long!
And, here is a link to the average cost of Whole Wheat bread in the USA.
24-ounce loaf of bread now costs, on average, $2.67.

Ron Paul Penguin & Polar Bear Club sign wave in Arl Hts, IL 1.5.08
On 01.05.08 around 30 American Citizens got together to wave signs for Ron Paul on a cold Chicagoland Winter Day. Weather was in the 40s, but wet. We all stay out from 11am, to 2pm that day, and from the series of videos on this event, you can see the support Chicagoland has for Dr. Paul. This was the intersection of Rand and Palatine
Thank you all who came down with me and help make this a very successful event. The next one will be bigger!
The cost for the U.S. Mint to manufacture a quarter is about 5 cents. A quarter is about 92 percent copper and 8 percent nickel. The approximate lifespan of a coin is 30 years. The two mints that produce coins, in Denver and Philadelphia, made about 15 billion coins in 2006, including 2.9 billion quarters. More than half the coins made were pennies.

Yes,
But my point is about value. Money backed by silver, holds up against inflation. Money like quarters, made of silver, have more value, and are more stable ways to hold money in your pocket. ITs like this.
What would you want in your pocket right now? A pocket full of silver quarters, or Fiat money? What would you want when your living on a fix income, like retirees? They dont need their money to lose value. They still need to eat.
Thank you
