well. I'm not completely dead! despite the fact that I haven't uploaded anything since, oh, APRIL. just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive, just very unproductive in editing. I have tons of projects that I'm not satisfied with - and presents I need to finish for very patient friends.

So, as some possible atonement, have a taste of what I've been working on and off on for these long long months. It's short. And there are some obvious faults, but I thought it was worth sharing. One day I'll stop making Demyx crack pairings....maybe.

the inspiration for this came from, incidentally, a oneshot I read about an older denzel and demyx who joined a band and had sex backstage. yeah, it was awesome. I'll get a link for it sooner or later. anywho, I started to like the pairing and this came about. There will be a time-jump in this and I'm wondering....who the hell do I use for older!Denzel?

So far my best bet is Genesis, but I don't wanna use someone who looks visibly older than Demyx. Thoughts, guys?

Basic plot in a nutshell without the story? Denzel is tired of being sick and dying slowly from geostigma. He's resigned himself to the inevitability that he will die. He's ready to go, whenever Death takes him...until two strangers in black cloaks wander into Midgar and he is ensnared by curiosity over the one that weaves melancholy music that seems to sound like how he feels.

i would say tidus for older denzel. you could probably pull it off convincingly if you lighten the AC sequences.
