ARGH VIDEO SPAM. Yes, I ran an edit of it, barely 12 hours after finishing the original.
Only a few minor edits, but I still think the video is considerably better for it. Fewer long, stagnant clips, a few little bits changed, but I really do think it's better.
Because I took down the other one, a summation of what I said:
This was a royal pain in my ass. I went through six (more like seven, now) hours of blood, sweat, tears, pain, and overly-long publishing/uploading times.
Wanted to do this for months, sort of a tribute to it being one year since I marathoned FFX the first time [12 hours in the space of 24 hours...]. Six, seven hours of technical problems, seven cans of soda, 3/4ths of a bag of chili cheese fritos, and a hangnail later, I'm finally happy-- the revisions are small, but boy, they help.
The extent of effects used are fades, greyscale, and a couple ease-zooms. (You have to understand: at the small-time con I was at about a month ago, there were like three AMVs by one person that could have been decent if they weren't utter effect-rape, so I still had that in mind. Simplicity?)
