I treat it like a M21.... An ACOG let's you fill in a sort of Marksman role, and a grip can help reduce recoil. My other loadout is with masterkey for CQC

@Speedtyper105Mr It decreases effective range. This means the bullets lose damages at a closer range. Damage rates are unaffected.

Well, it's meant to be effective range, not the range of the bullets, but the range of how much damage is dealt. Basically it's the same thing.

Anybody else notice that with a suppressor it can not fire as fast and it locks up much more often? Same goes for the FAL - very irritating. You could destroy a group of enemies on a regular basis if these guns worked properly with a suppressor on this game.
Without suppressor the first guy you killed has already been spawned nice and close to you and he, along with a mini-map red-dot chasing buddy, are shooting you from behind 15-20 seconds later.

I win CQC by hipfiring (without Steady Aim) with the M14 9 out of 10 chances.
I recommend RDS + Grip if you aren't comfortable with the iron sights.
