I know that this song was used before, but I had a fit of inspiration after watching an awesome video made by Charlieangel87. In the beginning of this video Casey gets a call saying that Sam has died. After that first scene, where she finds out about Sam's death and thinks back to the times she shared with him the setting changes to a year after the death. Casey is still mourning over Sam's death and Derek is trying to help Casey finally move on, but he is finding that Casey can't get rid of her memories with Sam. And, his attempts at helping her move on are only causing them to clash more and more b/c Casey isn't ready to move on just yet.

No Sam didn't actually die. Actually, he's coming back in this weeks epy after having disappeared from the show for a bit.
BTW the next episode is on this Saturday at 8:30 pm I think ;)
