Get the Bomb Bag with one Bombchu using Mega Flip

In the video I use Nayru's Love just to show you the trick. However, it is possible without NL using the "old method" of Mega Flipping which is running into the bomb without shielding so you get pushed back a bit without storing a Ground Jump just enough to backflip and if you're lucky, Mega Flip.

However, it would be insanely hard because when you do the non NL version of Mega Flipping, you don't always get pushed back the direction you want to, and this trick requires a perfect angle to get to the ledge.

So It's looking like a non NL version of this is TAS only unless someone finds a easier method of mega flipping without NL

You can fairly easily have Nayru's love before DC in a speedrun, although you'd have to do the castle courtyard before DC, too.

Well, you could get NL before DC, but it would take more time and Bombchu than this trick would save. Which is why this trick is useless in a speedrun unless it could be done without Nayru's Love.

Well, unless you plan on doing all your superslides the hard way, which you may do, you'll be getting Nayru's love anyway. So it's really only a question of how much time you lose by doing Zelda's Lullaby before DC, which can't be much.

yeah, current OoT speedruns are skipping Nayru's Love completely. Plus, don't forget about all the Bombchus you'll waste getting the magic and Nayru's Love that you normally use Bombs to get. I think you could save one Bombchu total if you got the Silver Gauntlets or break even if you didn't get them.

@BrianMp16 maga flips are accualy quite easy with bombchus (no nayru's love) i think your making this a out a bit vaguely? but there really quite easy, also wut kind of run do you even need bombs as a child for?

Umm like yeh some1 is gonna have a bomb chu and Nayru's love when they are there, practice doing it without Nayrus love, good timing tho.
