Deva ( Ram, dont you make stones float ?)

Bhagat Namdev ji, 600years ago, said that I have heard that God makes even stones float. But,he said, those stones are not literal stones they are actually metaphors for our low down & dirty characters. He makes them float above the scum-ocean of our virtue-less lives.
So why shouldn't Your humble slave also float across, remembering You, O Lord? ||1||Pause||
You saved the prostitute, and the ugly hunch-back; You helped the Dacoit and Ajaamal swim across as well.
The hunter who shot Krishna in the foot - even he was liberated.

Brothers i havent missed the point but u guys r missing a very prominent aspect of Indian spirtualism.there r 2 ways of Bhakti Nirgun and Sagun.and u guys r i thing belive in Nirgun (no form)...and just not ignoring other (if ignoring fine..might be good for yr spirtual growth)but u r condemning Sagun Bhakti...it depends on what type of Bhakt u r...same incident can be interpretted by both types of bhakts accordingly...greater is that who can recognise same in both

There is no indian or foriegn spiritualism. THere is only one God. Bhagti is the ability to see him in everyones hearts and ll the places. ALl rest are entrapments and devices of loot, rape and treachery. ( everyone knows the latest version of this loot and rape - Gurmeet Ram Rahim !! but the thing is he is not alone , all these intricate complex story and mistique creators have always been there an dwill also keep comming. We need to learn how to float above them. )

(as mentioned in other bani ). gurbani says this is the lords ;tamasha'...we are all a part of it.

Guru gobind singh established his vansh by learning gurbani Gur Nanak and true bhagats like kabeer, farid , ravidas, namdev ji...

So he belongd to their family . As far as the bichitar natak goes, it is named "strange drama" because it was not written by guru gobind singh .. some one tried to create this strange drama in his name . If you want to know about guru gobind singhs family read the guru granth sahib. Please dont read dubious materials like bichitar natak etc., they dont represent guru.
