@JumperPrime It's a cheap way to get attention, for starters. And the fact you can get other sources to see some tits and asses makes fanservice seemed pointless and also a sneaky way of saying "Hey you losers, this is the closest thing you can get to the real thing." But that's just my opinion on the matter.

I came for boobs and butts. I stayed for the plot and characters. Even if they weren't overly complex. They presented them in such an honest and fun way that I couldn't care less.

@Zoorah Only when it is the ONLY thing driving the show, which is way rarer than any "critic" who degrades series as soon as ecchi is part of the shows appeal would have you belive. And that´s not even going into all the OTHER forms of fanservice there are besides T&A.

Are you an imbecile ignorant? I just watched Lupin III the first season that was aired in 1971, and you have scandalously skimpy outfits in every episode, fanservice, shower scenes, violence and ecchi in a SHOUNEN. If something, anime has turned down on the fanservice as time passed on. But it really gets in my nerves when smart-asses like you speak like if you know shit when you clearly don't know what the hell they're talking about.
