"They" are the religious idiots that interpret the book as a means to their own ends, not the book "Bible" Itself. A book cant do that, but people can. The Bible doesnt seem to be up for discussion only because the religious types simply wont discuss it. But I will. lol. AA are still the religious types. Its not the Bibles fault that idiots cant admit to meanings VS facts

Yes you can. In science, if different theories contradict each other, they re-evaluate and discuss it, and conduct further studies. In the bible, whatever they say is set in stone. The beauty of science is that it changes constantly due to new discoveries being made. Look at AA. They use the same methods since the 1920's. Real science changes with the times. Science can admit to its mistakes. The bible doesn't.

@crisqo1984 No, I'll give you that. But you need to remember that there are many different books in the bible. Meaning that there are many different authors. Yes I concede that there are some stories in the bible that are fiction, because many different cultures that use stories to explain things they dont understand. But to say the whole book is fiction? You cant just say that because it doesnt marry up with other parts of the book. Even science wont do that with its theories.
