VMWare Fusion running on the Mac is like a great marriage. Even though PC is kind of a slow, dimwitted sort of guy, the Mac still keeps the relationship strong. Using other virtualization software has put this partnership to the test, but finally Fusion gives Mac and PC the tools to make their teamwork something beautiful. Of course, the time Fusion saves our duo can be used to engage in "other forms" of gameplay.
I am a fiber artist who relies on proprietary PC software to interface with my sewing machine. VMWare has made it possible to design in CS3, and I can import my designs into my embroidery software using Unity. I digitize them without rebooting. The process "seams" seamless! That's not the case with VirtualPC, Boot Camp, or even Parallels.
