The joke is on everyone; we are not alone, have never been alone. Our government has made treaties with them (the bad ones) in exchange for using us as lab rats. Honestly, I can't fault FEMA for planning for contingencies. The effects of most disasters are similar, so a response to aliens is a lot like a response to Katrina. I would rather spend money on disaster preparation than printing dollars endlessly to bail out European banks anyway!

On a different note i have to give Gov.Brown credit for introducing legislation to cut the ridiculious pensions to government workers.i am no fan of Brown.but when a liberal realizes its a problem and needs to be addressed that is a good sign.
