@zanzabar1360 No, Olli made it clear to Christian that it was over(with good reason). Chris didn't do any such thing, he had his drunken fun with Jessica and then used Olli's reaction as an excuse to hop in bed with Theresa. Chris wasn't man enough to break up with Olli, instead he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. I'm just curious what would have happened if Olli hadn't seen Chris and Theresa. Would Christian have lied and continue to sleep with Theresa behind Olli's back? I think so.

@Paulie2906 Christian has a double standard. It's okay for him to act on his own desires and pass them off as insignificant mistakes. I'm sure if Ollie had done the same, it would be a completely different story. He also has used what he knows is Olli's greatest insecurity (losing his husband to a woman) as a weapon. Christian's behavior has been psychologically abusive and I'm thankful that Olli has stood up for himself. I just hope they will not reunite them without dealing with this issue.

@congopete I lived 10 years in Germany and 5 in Spain. Indeed, English is the lingua franca of the world. But my experience was that although a surprising number of people, especially the younger gereations spoke some English, the larger population did not. May's translation's are excellent and the English she uses is simple straightforward. You may well be right that anyone with sufficient interst could follow Chrolli.

@popbuff Not everyone, but alot of people. Even among the spaniards. It's THE #1 holiday island for Germans (from cheap ass tourism to classier) and many Germans own land or at least houses there. It's realistic to speak German if you move around the German community. This goes for Mallorca (Spain), but also for some parts of Turkey and Croatia. The EU gives every citizen working and residency rights in every member state, so you can simpyl move down to 'Malle' (Mallorca) and try finding a job.

@Hugmup Christian never had an innate inability to perform with women. That is not how the writers originally wrote his character--not even close. How did you come up with that assumption, because you obviously haven't been keeping track of Christian's story in the past 5 years of his existence on the show.

@daiselladarling *sigh* Actually you just described VL pretty accurately. It is "a cheesy soap that has little or no relevance to anything". Only that Chrolli don't get all the typical over the top cheesy stuff, because they are not one of the larger than life super couples, like Philipp/Nico, Helena/Andi or Jan/Julia. In comparison to the main stories they look rather dull and insignificant. I guess this desertion might come across as realism for those who don't know the rest of the show.

@ArneBm If "real life" isn't occasionally referenced when commenting on VL, it is nothing more than a cheesy soap that has little or no relevance to anything.  It's being based, however tenuously, on real life experiences (which it certainly is) is crucial to its having any value. Otherwise, you should be watching a Disney cartoon or animated movie.

@daiselladarling Well, I suspect if Chrolli do reunite, and Christian has fathered a baby (or two) in the mean time, that Olli is in for a lot of heartache. I suspect Christian will be sure to remind Olli that he is the father, not Olli. As I said before, Olli will become a glorified babysitter for Christian's and whomever's child. He'll have to shut down no limits and open a daycare facility.

@Smartass8504 Sorry, but at the moment Christian IS written like an ass. Obviously writers have a plan, why they do it. It think it's to make Olli free for single stories, like Clarissa's secret, helping Jessica and dating other guys. Christian is written like a brick, so that Olli can get away with it, even if they are not officially divorced yet.

OR a daily soap, if you are already looking for examples. ;) VL is all about true love and fighting for it, so don't come with real life in here. Even if people are cheating, it doesn't mean that it's something you have to justify. In this story it's Christian's problem that he doesn't understand how much harm he did and does with his behaviour.

I'm a huge Christian fan and think he's hot, but even I will admit that he has screwed up many times, has a lot to be sorry for, and has caused a lot of drama and stress in their relationship. If you pay attention to the comments here you'll see many seem to think it's 100% Christian's fault and that everything Olli does is perfectly ok and acceptable.

@luckyduck152 BINGO! We have winners! We agree on something--almost. Little Lily was a terribly bad storyline that wasn't credible. If the VL writers have the storyline including a pregnancy (whether it's Jessica or Theresa), it won't be credible either. In 2011, what rational heterosexual couple (half-bisexual-half-hetersexua­l) couple has unprotected sex or sex without birth control. This bunch of writers will concoct anything to shock so you're probably going to be proven correct.
