Rare 1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk that runs excellent. This car has a straight body and newer red paint job. It's powered by a 289 CI "President" V8 engine. These Hawk's are difficult to find, especially in good condition. They are an interesting and notable part of American automobile history. Please inquire for more details on this unique vehicle. We can be reached by phone at toll free 866-542-8392 or 704-598-2130.

  • IT HAS 1958 SIDE GRILLS IN THE FRONT, & A 1958 HAWK EMBLEM IN THE FRONT GRILL?

  • I agree with the man on the paint on that car. The Painter was not a professional. He did not blend that red paint in well. It takes a special expertise to paint a red or yellow car. When the light shines on it it shows a lot of over spray. I also noticed that the right bank exhaust was much richer with smoke meaning it needs both a valve and ring job.

  • I know where one is setting right now. It is in Anderson, California and is also Red. It ran good when it was parked but needed a starter. It's been setting about ten years.

I have the 1956 President 4 door sedan. It needs all new seals in the Transmission a new paint job and upholstry It will start right now if I prime it with a new battery.

  • It also have 58 wiring in the engine compartment and broken shift indicator. Wonder the condition of the brakes and kingpins. I'd offer $7500 assuming the frame is cracked.

  • looks like a spray can paint job what happen to the tach on the right side?? my goldenhawk had it

  • looks like a spray can paint job

  • The body shop must have been running a special on "resale red" lol.

  • If that is a 57, it has 58 trim and emblems. Nice car though and looks ready to go.

  • Definitely one of my top favorite car of all time... Studebaker was one helluva car company to survive against the "Big 3" as long as it did.. Better quality engineering in these cars..

  • @MyAussieDay it only needs a tape adjustment.
