I am a huge fan of Ilayaraja compositions. I like Rahman composing too. But...
If i will ever bow down to one musician it is Ilayaraja.
But my point here is.....
Why should we fight over one ilayaraja and one rahman if we could have hundreds of ilayarajas and rahmans with far superior talents...! How can we get them...?
We must include music as one of our school subject like science and math.
Because this is the land of music & the land of gods (There is a saying "music is very near to god")

you know that arr and other composers copied from ilayaraja because you have listened to ilayarajas songs...but you have not listened to songs which ilayaraja has copied from..... ilayaraja is the biggest thief ..

damnn awesome video.!! till now i was thinkin ARR was great.. now i came to know tat arr is also lik other music directors.. Ilayaraja is really d dictionary fo all composers.. gotta tell about this to ma frnds.. ;)

4th song. Sunta hai is not copied from Inji iduppalagi song. the sequence of notes differ in both songs. Listen keenly and observe the songs. I post this message to the person who created this video.

All these are just a little bit similar. They don't sound the same. So you can't call these a copy. I won't rule out inspiration though. Btw, some can be commercially available loops. And also, some of you claims that the music was inspired was nothing but non sense. You say it's an inspiration just because the tempo, pitch and rhythm is same.

Don't ever compare Sivaji and Marlon Brando. Sivaji is no where near Brando! Of course, Sivaji was a good actor by Indian standards, but comparing him with a top class actor like Marlon Brando is stupid.
