On the night of the shootings of Charles and Carol Stewart, The Rescue 911 crew happened to be on the ride along and kept up with the story in the days following the incident. This is the 20th anniversary of that incident. This segment of episode 120 aired on February 27, 1990 on CBS.

I think this may be the hardest Rescue 911 episode I've even watched. Its so sad that the lady and her child had to suffer because the guy didn't want to be a dad or see his financial status diminish! What a total cold, unhearted, racist, pig, jerk to ever walk the planet. I feel for the mother and her baby, and all the men and women on the rescue squad.

@TheBlacsheep It's a common theme in many big city police states. I grew up in New York and still have a "Remember Michael Stewart" sticker on my guitar case from 3 decades ago.as. Not to mention Elanor Bumpers and thousands of others that never made the papers. At least in NYC it was unacceptable to enough people to raise a stink about it, but as usual Big Brother is cleared. Fuck those Nazi bastards.

I'm a little lost..So he murdered his pregnant wife, blamed it on some innocent black guy and the stuff he claimed was stolen in the robbery he had actually given to his brother at an earlier date? And the cops went into Nazi Stormtrooper mode in the black community based on his bogus account of the robbery?
