2009 Butter Ball Python (post shed)

Here is my female Butter ball python. This was taken after she shed. It is an overview and upclose video of her, and I go through my future breeding plans. She will be bred by a male Butter in my attempt to make some Blue Eyed Leucistics (pure white snake with blue eyes). For those of you who don't know, a butter is very similar to a Lesser, but according to a lot of sources, Butters make the best Blue Eyed Leucistics, so I guess we'll see. Thanks... it's all good. You're probably right about my plans changing though. Ain't it hard deciding what snakes you want to create first..... I just want em all! lol

DUDE. it's gonna take atleast 2 years for those girls to be of breedable age/size. Trust me i bet your plans will change a lot throughout those 2 years. I've tried keeping plans with ball pythons but it never works! i'm always changing my mind. I hope you do stick to your plans though, because those seem like some awesome projects. My advice would be though to get some females with size. Your males are gonna be ready way before your females, and your not gonna have anything to breedd them to. GL

Thanks for the advise. I'm working on the females now, and the ones that I don't have yet, were all hatched out this fall. The males that I will be getting, won't be hatched until next summer or fall, and where I'm getting them from, there is a real good chance of those males being in one of the clutches. I'm figuring that all the males I get will be about a year younger than any of the females, so hopefully the females will be a decent size by the time any of the males are even hatched.
