Pit Bull is a type and not a breed, the pit bull type consists of the bull terriers, bullies, pit bull terriers, american staffordshire terrier, staffordshire bull terrier. any breed that originated from bulldog terrier mixes used for dog fighting or bull fighting are pitbull types

@southernedgepits When your keeping a UK (English) breed the only standard that you should breed to is the standard of the country that produced the breed, they are supposed to be athletic, being bulldog type is a fault, those fat messes wouldn't last 5 minutes with an athletic dog half their weight, I don't support dog fighting or cruelty but the breed is what it is and thats what their supposed to be able to do even if we do just keep them for pets in modern times.
