Meredith Wins United Way Central Iowa Impact Award

Meredith Corporation - one of America's largest media and marketing companies - received a prestigious honor from United Way -- the Central Iowa Impact Award. The honor is presented annually to the organization that best exemplifies the spirit of United Way. The award criteria include employee participation, volunteer engagement, donation amount, incentives offered to participants, and leadership support.

Over the past six years, Meredith and its employees have generously increased United Way giving more than 100 percent, contributing a record $512,500 in 2007. Thanks to everyone who pledged to United Way. Dollars raised stay in Central Iowa to help build a better place for all of us to live, work and raise a family. United Way improves lives by uniting the caring power of our community.
